BCCI Announces India Squad T20 Series In Ireland

After the excitement of IPL 2022, now the cricket fans are having fun and excitement in the international level as team India has started their international duty. Currently, India is playing against South Africa at home and trailing e the series by 2-1 under the captaincy of Rishabh Pant. Now BCCI has officially announced the Indian squad for the upcoming T20 Series in Ireland and Rahul Tripathi got his debut call for the official side.

India will play two-match T20I series against Ireland, and the series will start on June 26th. BCCI has announced that Hardik Pandya will be the captain of the Indian team in Ireland while the sensational fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been named vice-captain.

The selectors have also included Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson in the squad. Umran Malik has also secured his place in the squad to play against Ireland.

Speaking about the series, the two matches T20 Series between India and Ireland will be played on June 26 and June 28, respectively.

It is worth mentioning that the big names are missing from the squad including skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, that is because they will play against England to finish the series which took place last year. The last match of the test series was cancelled last year due to the outbreak of the coronavirus in the Indian camp.

Hardik Pandya (Captain), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (vice-captain), Ishan Kishan, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav, Venkatesh Iyer, Deepak Hooda, Rahul Tripathi, Dinesh Karthik (wicket-keeper), Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik.
