New Zealand became the champions of the first World Test Championship tournament and we are still in the hangover of the highly anticipated final match which was ended last month.
ICC has also confirmed that the next World Test Championship cycle will start from next month and the first match of the tournament will be played between India versus England in the five match test series.

The ICC officially confirmed that teams will be awarded standardized 12 points for a win, while 4 points for a draw and 6 points for a tie during the second World Test Championship cycle.
It is also said that percentage of points won will be used to determine standings in the 2021-23 cycle. Having said that, in the first edition of the tournament each Test series carried a value of 120 points.
