Others who scored were Hetmeyer(35), Samson(30), Padikkal(7), Riyan Parag(5), Navdeep Saini(2), Jaiswal(1), Ashwin(1), Boult(1 not out). With 11 extras, Rajasthan came up with a total of 193-8 from 20 overs.
Mumbai bowlers tried their level best to restrict the run flow. In the process, Jasprit Bumrah and Tymal Mills picked up 3 wickets each while Pollard got a wicket.
Mumbai Indians started batting. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma opened for Mumbai Indians. They had a target of 194 to chase from 20 overs. Tilak Varma(61) was the top scorer for Mumbai Indians. Daniel Sams(0) and Jasprit Bumrah(0 not out) were unable to score any runs.
Rajasthan bowlers succeeded in restricting runs and plucking out wickets at regular intervals. The fielders and bowlers were able to maintain the pressure for Mumbai Indians. The most successful bowler for Rajasthan was Yuzvendra Chahal, who gave just 26 runs while gaining 2 wickets. Navdeep Saini got 2 wickets while Ravichandran Ashwin, Prasidh Krishna and Trent Boult got a wicket each.
In the end, Mumbai Indians were limited to 170-8 from 20 overs. Both the teams were equally good, but Rajasthan Royals won the game.
