Well, now BCCI has officially revealed the details of the upcoming IPL mega auction 2022. BCCI has officially confirmed that the mega auction will be held on February 12 and 13 and the same will be hosted on the lands of Bengaluru. It is also confirmed that a total of 1214 players have submitted their names.
This year, there will be two new franchises in the tournament and eight of them who are already part of the IPL have spent some money to retain a total of 27 players. It is worth mentioning that all the franchises have ₹90 crores to pick their key players for the upcoming season.
Having said that, the two new teams from Lucknow and Ahmedabad were allowed to buy three players before the upcoming auction. KL Rahul will be the part of Lucknow as the captain in the upcoming season.
