Kerala Blasters FC Topped The Table

Kerala Blasters FC topped the table after winning the ISL match against Odisha FC on 12 January 2022. It was a very proud moment for Kerala Blasters fans. Odisha fans had to leave disappointed after losing the game.  Adrian Luna of Kerala Blasters is crowned as the player of the match for his efforts. 

As soon as the match started, Kerala Blasters started attacking the Odisha post. There were a series of missed, blocked and saved attempts on both sides. In the process of trying to score a goal, both teams committed fouls, conceived corners, and had unfortunate offsides. 

Enes Sipovic of Kerala Blasters was booked with a yellow card in 15 minutes for a bad foul. Nishu Kumar scored a goal for Kerala Blasters in 27 minutes with an assist from Adrian Luna. Kerala Blasters broke the deadlock to gain a lead. 

Odisha was trying very hard to level the score. Amidst their tries, Hendry Antony of Odisha FC was booked with a yellow card for a bad foul in 28 minutes. Odisha was very desperate to score a goal by this time. 

Harmanjot Khabra scored for Kerala Blasters in 39 minutes. Once again it was Adrian Luna who assisted. As Kerala Blasters strengthened their lead, Odisha was looking for a gap to reciprocate at least one goal. Lalruatthara of Odisha was booked with a yellow card in 41 minutes. The first half ended with Kerala Blasters in the lead with two goals against zero for Odisha. 

The second half saw many substitutions. Odisha was trying to replace the tired players with fresh players from the bench in an attempt to score a goal. Kerala Blasters made some substitutions as well. Khawlhring Lalthathanga of Kerala Blasters was shown the yellow card in 80 minutes for a bad foul. As the game ended, Kerala Blasters FC won with two goals.
