Rohit Sharma Ruled Out Of Test Series Against South Africa

Team India is gearing up to play against South Africa on their land and the test match series is just around the corner. Now we got a piece of disappointing news, as the newly appointed vice-captain Rohit Sharma ruled out of the upcoming test series against South Africa.

BCCI has officially confirmed that Rohit Sharma will miss the upcoming test series in South Africa due to an injury and the same happened during the training session. He needs to be rested for the next couple of weeks. KL Rahul may take the responsibility of the vice-captain in the upcoming test match series. For those who are unaware, Rohit Sharma is the new captain of the ODIs of team India as well.

In the absence of the sensational batsman Rohit Sharma, the selectors of the team India included Priyank Panchal in the squad, and he was part of the India A tour to the country earlier this month. It is worth mentioning that he showcased an amazing performance in the recent tournaments.

The upcoming test match series will kick-off on December 17 and the series includes three matches. So let’s wait for the exciting matches and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for the latest happenings from the world of sports at your fingertips.
