Kerala Blasters Procured Another Draw Match

Kerala Blasters procured another draw match. Antonio Perosevic of SC East Bengal was crowned the player of the match for his efforts. Both teams scored one goal each as the match ended in a tie.

The match started, and each team decided to play it rough. As a result, there was a series of fouls and free kicks on each side. 

Thongkhosiem Haokip of SC East Bengal was booked with a yellow card just ten minutes into the game. Amarjit Singh was booked in 21 minutes as well. 

The game proceeded with an ample amount of missed, saved and blocked attempts on both sides. 

It was in 36 minutes that Tomislav Mrcela scored a goal with an assist from Raju Gaikwad. The game continued as before. Both teams put up an aggressive attacking front. In 43 minutes Kerala Blasters equalized the score. It was Álvaro Vázquez behind the ball with an assist from Jessel Carneiro. 

The game progressed without much happening apart from the minor fouls and free kicks, with an occasional corner. The first half ended with both teams scoring a goal. The scoreboard read Kerala Blasters- 1  1-SC East Bengal at half time. 

The second half saw the rest of the attacking game from both sides. The aggressive front from both teams gave way to an exciting game. It caused a lot of fouls and free kicks as well. There were a number of substitutions in the second half. 

Although fresh players entered the field, nobody succeeded  in scoring a goal. The second half was goalless for both sides. There was a yellow card shown to Lalrinliana Hnamte of SC East Bengal in 64 minutes. They seemed to be playing a more attacking game than Kerala. Their aggressiveness received three yellow cards for the team’s players throughout the game. In the end Kerala Blasters procured another draw match.
