Mumbai City FC emerged victorious against Bengaluru FC in the ISL match on 4th November 2021. It was a thrilling match. Mumbai won 3-1 against Bengaluru. Igor Angulo of Mumbai City FC was crowned the player of the match.
Both teams put out an aggressive front. It was a great game. Both teams were looking for a way to break the deadlock. Igor Angulo succeeded in the 8th minute, giving Mumbai City FC a lead. It was a penalty that Angulo converted into a goal. Alan Costa of Bengaluru conceded the penalty from a hand ball in the penalty area.
Cleiton Silva of Bengaluru levelled the score in 19 minutes, converting a free kick into a goal. The scoreboard remained the same for the rest of the first half. Along with that there were a few fouls, free kicks, missed attempts, saved attempts and corners on both sides.
There were a couple of saved penalties as well. These were conceded for bad fouls in the penalty area. Although nothing came from the conceded penalties, they gave both teams ample opportunities. Suresh Singh and Roshan Singh of Bengaluru were shown yellow cards in the first half as well.
Mumbai City FC reclaimed the lead in 53 minutes when Mourtada Sergine Fall scored a goal with Ahmed Jahouh’s assist. Although Ahmed Jahouh was booked with a yellow card in 45 minutes for a bad foul, he did a great job with the assist.
Amey Ranawade of Mumbai was booked with a yellow card in 69 minutes. Sunil Chhetri of Bengaluru is booked with a yellow card as well, in 75 minutes for a bad foul.
Ygor Catatau strengthened Mumbai’s lead in 84 minutes as he scored a goal. The match ended with Mumbai City FC winning 3-1 against Bengaluru FC. It was a decent match.
