Kerala Blasters registered their first victory. It is a great achievement for the team in this season of the tournament. They won 2-1 against Odisha. Adrian Luna of Kerala Blasters was crowned the player of the match.
It was a great match for Kerala. They played an attacking game right from the start. Sahal Abdul Samad of Kerala took the first shot at the goal. A lot of fouls, freekicks and missed attempts followed. There were some corners as well.
Thobia Moriangthem of Odisha is booked with a yellow card in 15 minutes. Adrian Luna seems to be on fire in this game. He was able to pressure the Odisha team to a great extent with his shots at the opposition post.
The Odisha team did not hesitate to counter attack. Both teams were playing neck to neck with each team taking constant shots at the opposite goal post.
Nobody was successful in the first half. The first half ended in a goalless tie. The second half started. Everybody was looking at a chance to break the deadlock.

The Odisha team were able to return a goal.in the second half extra time at 94 minutes. The final scoreboard read Kerala Blasters FC 2 – 1 Odisha FC.
It was an exciting match to watch. Each team presented an attacking front rather than a defensive front. Yellow cards were given to Marko Leskovic and Jeakson Singh of Kerala Blasters along with Lalruatthara of Odisha FC as well.
