India Declares To Win The Match

India declares to win the match on day five. K.L. Rahul is selected as the player of the match as India wins by 151 runs. The Indian bowlers did a commendable job as well getting wickets and holding runs, putting pressure on the opponents.

The game continues after 82 overs with Anderson bowling to Pant and Ishant. Few overs go by until 85.3 overs when Robinson takes Pant’s wicket with a catch from Buttler. Pant goes for 22 from 46 balls including a four. India at 194-7.

Shami arrives to continue. Few overs go by and Wood almost knocks out Shami with a bouncer. England appeals, but its not given. At 89.3 overs Robinson takes out Ishant with an lbw. Ishant departs with 16 from 24 balls including 2 fours. India 209-8.

Jasprit Bumrah comes to the crease. The match progresses to 99.5 as 250 comes up for India.

As it gets to 101.3 overs Shami and Bumrah raise a 50 partnership in the 9th  wicket. At 105.3 overs Shami completes his 50 with a six.

At 109.3 overs Kohli decides to declare and send England for batting. Shami 56 from 70 including 6 fours and 1 six, Bumrah 34 from 64 including  3 fours. India declares to win the match later.

Burns and Sibley open for England. Bumrah manages to get Burns in the first over at 0 from 4 in 0.3 overs. Haseeb Hameed replaces him.

At 1.4 overs Shami gets Sibley, caught by Pant. Joe Root takes the crease.

The match gets to 15.3 overs when Ishant gets Haseeb Hameed with lbw. Hameed departs with 9 from 45 balls. Baristow comes next.

The match gets to 21.6 overs  Ishant gets Baristow with lbw. Baristow departs with 2 from 24 balls. Jos Buttler comes to bat.

In the next over Bumrah gets Root with a catch from Kohli. Root goes for 33 from 60 including 5 fours.

Moeen Ali is at the crease now. The match progresses to 38.1 overs when Moeen Ali is caught by Kohli in Siraj’s over with 13 from 42 balls including 2 fours. Sam Curran comes to bat and is immediately caught by Pant.

Ollie Robinson arrives next. The match gets to 50.5 overs when Robinson goes for lbw in Bumrah’s ball. Robinson got 9 runs from 35 balls.

Mark Wood takes up the chase but the match ends in the next over when Siraj gets Buttler caught by Pant at 51.2 overs and bowls out Anderson who replaces him at 51.5 overs. Buttler goes for 25 from 96 balls and Anderson for 0 from 3 balls.

England at 120- 10 loses to India.
