India tries and manages to control the outflow of runs in the next overs to an extent, but fails to get a wicket. The Indian bowlers are unable to choke England as Root and Baristow continue.
The overs go by and Indian bowlers still fails to get a wicket. By 71.2 overs Baristow completes his fifty with a four. The Indian bowlers are now desperate for a wicket.
The great partnership comes to an end in the 79th over as Baristow is caught by Kohli in Siraj’s over. Baristow departs with 57 from 107 including 7 fours.
Jos Butler comes to the crease. Jadeja almost manages to knock him off with an lbw but theMoeempire says no.
By 81.3 overs Joe Root completes his century. England at 236-4. As the game continues, the England batsmen are giving Indian bowlers a hard time. Desperate for a wicket, they give out many extras.

Moeen Ali arrives at 5 down. The game continues with Ali building a partnership with Root. By 107 overs 150 comes up for Root. It is as if the Indian bowlers are unable to get a hold of him.
110.5 overs and Moeen Ali has to depart, caught by Kohli in Ishant’s ball with 27 runs from 72 balls including 4 fours. Sam Curran arrives and is immediately caught out by Rohit.
Next up is Ollie Robinson who lasts for a few overs until he is lbw ed by Siraj in 116.6 overs with 6 runs from 22 balls including a four.
It is in the hands of Mark Wood to continue the game supporting Root. Siraj almost gets Root in the 121st over as Kohli takes a review, but the umpire calls notout.
By 122.5 overs England takes the lead in the match as Root hits a four. Wood is run out by the end of 124.3 overs in Siraj’s over. Wood goes with 5 runs from 23 balls.
