In the reply, Royal Challengers Bangalore came out with a tricky choice as Washington Sundar came out open with the captain Virat Kohli and Sundar went back after scoring 10 runs. Virat Kohli and the sensational all-rounder Glenn Maxwell scored 33 and 39 runs respectively.
After that, AB de Villiers rolled back the years with his sensational batting performances and he announced his arrival with a sixer. De Villiers smashed 48 off 27 balls after RCB were down at 106 for 5. Harshal Patel capped off his dream day as he guided RCB to the victory in the last ball of the match.
