After the electrifying matches in Abu Dhabi last year, now the organizers of the glorious cricketing tournament of the country IPL is gearing up to host the IPL 2021 edition this year and the same is expected to be hosted in India.
Well, before the exciting tournament starts the franchises need to bid players to strengthen their team and to make sure the best team out in the ground. BCCI announced to host the mini action and the same will be happening in Chennai on February 18 at 3 p.m. IST. So in this article, we will detail everything about the mini action.
All you need to know about mini IPL auction
A total number of 294 players will go under the hammer and the committee of the tournament shortlisted the players from the pool of 1,114 players. Speaking about the auction, there are 12 players in the list with a base price of ₹1.5 crore, and there are no Indians in the list, while in the category of ₹1 crore, we have 11-player Rs 1 crore and this category has two Indian players – Hanuma Vihari and Umesh Yadav.
Having said that, Arjun Tendulkar, son of the God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar is on the auction list and he is a left-arm fast bowler, and he will be available for the base price category of ₹20 lakh.
