IPL 2021 Auction Date And Venue Announced

Back in last week the popular franchises of the Indian Premier League retained the core players and released players before the mini-auction, and the list of released players includes big names Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Harbhajan Singh, and more. Moreover, Rajasthan Royals has also announced Sanju Samsung as the new captain of the team for the upcoming edition of the very popular cricketing tournament of the country. Well, now BCCI has announced the date and venue of the auction for the upcoming IPL 2021.

The guys behind the much-anticipated cricketing tournament have announced the auction date and venue on the official Twitter handle of IPL. Well, it is confirmed that the auction will be held in Chennai and the same will happen on February 18. This means Chennai will be the place where the franchises and fans will get their perfect eleven for the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League.

Having said that, it is expected that the BCCI will do all the possible things to host the IPL 2021 in India as last year it was hosted in UAE due to the outbreak of coronavirus and the scenario of the country. The tournament was held in the month of September and the final match was played in the month of November last year.
