Just a couple of days ago, the IPL franchise retained the core players and released players before the mini-auction, and now we got a new piece of information which reveals the date of the upcoming mini-auction of 2021 and the same will help the franchises to build their team before the IPL tournament.
According to PTI, the organizers of the very popular Cricketing tournament of the country will set the mini-auction on February 18, a BCCI official confirmed this particular date. But BCCI is yet to confirm the venue for the auction.
It is to mention that BCCI is not sure to set the venue for the upcoming edition of the IPL tournament in India but the president of BCCI Sourav Ganguly has repeatedly asserted that everything possible would be done.
Back in last year, the IPL tournament was held in UAE due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the country. The tournament was held in the month of September and the final match was played in the month of November last year.
