England To Tour India Next Year

After almost one year the international cricket is coming back to India, as the outbreak of coronavirus and the scenario of the country was not allowed the authorities to allow games. Now BCCI has confirmed that the international cricket is back and England tour of India announced and the tournament will include test matches, one day internationals, and T20s. It is announced that England cricket team will arrive in India to play against the host and the series will include four test matches, 3 one day international matches, and five T20 matches.

The tournament will start on February 5 in Chennai and that will end on March 28 which means it is a lengthy tournament for both the teams. It is worth mentioning that England will play against India in the day and night test match as well and that will be held in Ahmedabad on February 24.

2nd Test, Chennai: February 13 to 17

3rd Test, Ahmedabad (day-night): February 24 to 28

2nd T20I, Ahmedabad: March 14

3rd T20I, Ahmedabad: March 16

4th T20I, Ahmedabad: March 18

5th T20I, Ahmedabad: March 20

ODIs

1st ODI, Pune: March 23

2nd ODI, Pune: March 26

3rd ODI, Pune: March 28

That said, the upcoming tournament will be part of the World Test Championship and the same will be the last chance for both teams to enter into the final of the championship and that will be held at Lord’s later this year.
