India’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill is set to make his eagerly anticipated return to first-class cricket as Punjab prepares to face Chhattisgarh in the second round of the domestic tournament on Sunday. The star batter missed Punjab’s opening fixture of the campaign, during which former India Under-19 captain Uday Saharan led the side to secure three crucial points via a first-innings lead over Assam.
