A look back to the game between India versus Pakistan

Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first, and the captain of team India Rohit Sharma started confidently by smashing a 6 but the bowling unit of Pakistan dominated over the batting lineup of India as Virat Kohli went back to the pavilion for just 4 while the captain of the side Rohit Sharma added 13 to the total.

Rishabh Pant came out at the third position and he got a couple of lifelines as the fielders of Pakistan dropped catches and he contributed 42 from 31 along with Axar Patel who added 20 to the total.

Shivam Dube was able to score 3 while Hardik Pandya disappointed once again as he contributed 7 from 12. The poor form of Hardik Pandya continuous his poor form as we know that he totally failed in the 17th edition of IPL which was recently concluded.

Ravindra Jadeja was not able to open his account while Arshdeep Singh contributed 9 and Mohammed Siraj added 7 to the total. Team India was all out in 19 overs for just 119.

The entire Pakistan unit celebrated but the duration of their celebration was very short as team India came back into the game after 10 overs.

Mohammad Rizwan contributed 31 and he was a set batsman but Jasprit Bumrah provided a break through by removing him. The captain of the side Babar Azam added 13. His wicket was also taken by Jasprit Bumrah.

Usman Khan and Fakhar Zaman contributed 13 respectively while Imad Wasim added 15. Shadab Khan was able to score 4 and Iftikhar Ahmed added 5. Naseem Shah contributed 10 but he was not able to finish the game and team India won the match by 7 runs.

Along with the sensational bowling performance, we must appreciate the supreme captaincy of Rohit Sharma as well. The strategy and the switching of bowlers as well as the placement of fielders was exceptional.
