Indian Batsmen Forget To Play As England Won By 100 Runs

After registering a sensational victory in the first ODI of the series, team India lost the second match of the series by 100 runs and the batting unit of the team collapsed completely. A couple of players including the captain Rohit Sharma went back to the pavilion without opening the account. India lost the game after getting a good start as the bowling department provided an amazing foundation by restricting India and below 250. India won the toss and elected to field first and it was believed that Rohit Sharma made an excellent decision as the bowling unit of the team India started to dominate from the early stage of the game.

Jason Roy went back to the pavilion after scoring 23 while his partner Jonny Bairstow added 38 in his account. Joe Root and Ben Stokes added 11 and 21 runs respectively.

After that, the host had an amazing partnership between Moeen Ali and David Willey as they scored 47 and 41 runs respectively which helped England to present a decent total of 246 on the board.

Team India had a very bad start as the captain Rohit Sharma went back to the pavilion without opening his account and his partner Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed for just 9.

Virat Kohli was back in the squad in the second ODI of the series but he didn’t able to do much as he went back to the pavilion after scoring 16 in his account.

Rishabh Pant came out in the fourth position to play in the game but he didn’t able to open his account. Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya tried to fight but they failed as both dismissed for 27 and 29 runs respectively.

Ravindra Jadeja tried to take team India to the target with the company Mohammed Shami but they were dismissed for 29 and 23 respectively. India ended their innings at 146.
