Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar built up a great partnership that Hyderabad bowlers failed to break. By the time they got rid of Patidar it was too late.
Abhishek Sharma and Williamson opened for Hyderabad. The highest individual score for the team came from Rahul Tripathi(58). Others who joined the chase were Markram(21), Pooran(19), Shashank Singh(8), Bhuvneshwar Kumar(8), J Suchith(2), Fazalhaq Farookhi(2 not out). Abhishek Sharma, Williamson, Karthik Tyagi and Urman Malik failed to score any runs. The total score came to 125-10 in 19.2 overs with 7 extras.
Bangalore bowlers were very prompt on restricting runs and gaining wickets. Hasaranga took 5 wickets while Josh Hazlewood got 2 wickets Glenn Maxwell and Harshal Patel gained a wicket each. In the end, Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 67 runs.
