Mumbai City FC Crushed FC Goa

Mumbai City FC crushed FC Goa for a 3-0 win. Igor Angulo of Mumbai is declared the man of the match for his two goals as well as his other efforts. 

It was a rather rough game, considering the fact that Alexander Jesuraj was booked with a yellow card only 27 minutes into the game. There were a number of offsides and corners as well. 

Igor Angulo broke the deadlock in 32 minutes when he scored the first goal for Mumbai. He doubled Mumbai’s lead within minutes, when he scored another goal in 35 minutes. Raynier Fernandes assisted him. The first half ends with 2 minutes extra time. Mumbai City FC lead the match with 2 goals against nil for FC Goa.

It was an aggressive first half. Both teams tried desperately to build a lead. Mumbai City FC succeeded. It was exciting to watch missed attempts, corners and 2 goals for Mumbai. 

The second half continued to be as aggressive as the first. There were attempts missed and offsides, as well as a number of corners. Two other players of FC Goa were booked with yellow cards. Edu Bedia received a yellow card in 77 minutes and Sanson Pereira was booked for a bad foul in 83 minutes. 

Amidst all this, Mumbai City FC scored another goal in 75 minutes. It was Ygor. Ahmed Jahouh assisted. Mumbai is reassuring their lead with a 3-0 lead. 

FC Goa is seen trying desperately to catch up with Mumbai and end the match in a draw. A lot of missed attempts and corners resulted from the futile efforts of Goa. 

The match was very exciting to the last minute. Although Mumbai was in the lead, Goa was seen desperately trying to even the score. The efforts did not bear any fruit. 

Mumbai City tackled all advances of Goa. The match  ended as Mumbai City FC crushed FC Goa.
