West Indies Gained Victory By 3 Runs

West Indies gained victory by 3 runs. It was a close call. An interesting game right upto the end. Bangladesh made a bad call after winning the toss, opting to bowl first. 

West Indies set up a score of 142-7 from 20 overs. Roston Chase(39) and Pooran(40) are the main scorers for West Indies. Others who contributed to the total are Gayle(4), Lewis(6), Hetmyer(9), Pollard(14), Bravo(1), Holder(15). Russell did not take any runs as he did not face any balls and was run out. 

Both teams were not very successful in gaining an advantage. There was a pressure situation for both teams till the very end. West Indies still managed to win the match. Nicholas Pooran got the player of the match. 

Liton Das(44) and Mahmudullah(31) scored the highest for Bangladesh. Naim(17), Shakib(9), Soumya Sarkar(17), Mushfiqur Rahim(8) and Afif Hossain(2) contributed. Although it was a good chase, Bangladesh failed to acquire the required runs for a win. 

There was pressure on both sides till the very end and the match was unpredictable. Although West Indies lost more wickets, they managed to win the match. The bowlers were able to restrict the Bangladesh team from attaining the target. 

West Indies took 5 wickets, 1 by each bowler. Although it was a tough game, the West Indies bowlers were able to lead the team to a win. As for Bangladesh, they managed to get 7 wickets, Mahedi Hasan(2), Mustafizur(2), Shoriful Islam(2). The Bangladesh team, although they managed to get more wickets, they lost the game. 

West Indies were lucky enough to gain victory by 3 runs. The bowlers are to thank for the win as they managed to restrict run flow. West Indies gained victory by 3 runs.
