The Indian Premier League 2021 edition was suspended early this year due to the outbreak of coronavirus in India and the tournament is now restarted and the first match was played in the second leg of the tournament in UAE. Chennai Super Kings played against Mumbai Indians in the second leg of the tournament and CSK registered a thrilling victory against the defending Champions.

But Saurabh Tiwary showcased his character and remained not out and he scored 50. While the acting captain Kieron Pollard added 15 runs in his account. Mumbai Indians ended their innings at 136 runs after losing 8 wickets and lost the game by 20 runs.
That said, the men in yellow jersey moved to the top position of the points table with this victory.
