The schedule of the much-anticipated Indian Premier League 2021 edition has announced and the tournament will be played in the country this year. Last year the organizers of the tournament were not able to host the matches in India due to the outbreak of coronavirus and the scenario of the country and the matches were played in UAE.
It is officially confirmed that the IPL 2021 edition will be played in India and the games will be hosted in the six cities of the country. The first match of the tournament will be played on April 9 in Chennai and the match will be played by the defending Champions Mumbai Indians against Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The organizers of IPL 2021 will host the matches in Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. Each team will play four of the six designated venues and the tournament will be played without an audience at the start but the audience will be allowed in the later stage of the tournament.
Ahmedabad will be the venue for the final match of the IPL 2021 edition and the same will happen on May 30.
