India Clinches Border-Gavaskar Trophy

The team India showcased the real spirit of the game and dominated Australia on their soil. The team played without their front-end bowling unit and without the key players including the regular Skipper Virat Kohli but the character which the players showcased in the middle of Gabba is simply glorious and the team India registered a dominating victory over Australia to seal the series.

It was a painful start, as the team India lost to Australia in the first test match even without fighting back but witness a total change in the character of the players in the second test matches and the third test match which was believed to be an easy win for Australia. However, Hanuman Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin showcased amazing skills and the test match was ended in a draw and that was sweeter than a victory.

The team India lost all the important players including the front-end bowling unit and the key players such as Ravindra Jadeja due to the injury and in the fourth Test, the team India came out with a new face of bowling attack and the management was Force full to include the bowler who never played in Australia. Well, that means team India played with an inexperienced bowling attack in the fourth Test and the team also didn’t had a proper middle order as well.

But each and every player of the squad showcased an amazing exhibition of the patience as well as the skills and that resulted in a historical victory. It is worth mentioning that this is happening for the first time in Gabba as Australia never lost in this venue since 1988.
