BCCI has officially announced the Indian Squad for the upcoming Australia tour and the selectors have announced the team of India for both ODI and T20 formats. It is worth mentioning that Rohit Sharma has been replaced as the captain of India ODI team. Both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma make a comeback to the ODI side.
The selectors have announced that the opener Shubman Gill is the new captain of the Indian ODI team for the upcoming tour of Australia, the selectors replaced Rohit Sharma with the new decision.. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, has been named in the 15-member squad announced by the BCCI.
Shreyas Iyer has been named vice-captain for the three-match series against Australia. Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the upcoming ODI series while Yashasvi Jaiswal has been recalled.
The upcoming ODI series is scheduled to be played in Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne between October 19 and 25 and the Australian tour of India will also have a five-match T20 series. So let’s check out the squad of team India.
