Namibia secured a comfortable 31-run victory over Ireland in Windhoek to level their ongoing five-game one-day international series at one win apiece. Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus produced a masterclass with both bat and ball, anchoring his team’s innings before returning late in the game to dismantle the Irish tail.

Put into bat first after Ireland captain Paul Stirling won the toss, Namibia posted a commanding total of 321-6 from their allotted 50 overs. What Happens Next
In response, Ireland made a strong push through captain Paul Stirling, who continued his fine form with a quickfire 77 off 71 balls. However, a middle-order collapse halted their momentum as three batters fell for the addition of just six runs. Fast bowler Jack Brassell tore through the batting lineup to finish with impressive figures of 4-52. A spirited ninth-wicket partnership of 58 runs between Hoey and Jai Moondra briefly brought the tourists back into contention, but Erasmus returned to remove Moondra and wrap up the innings at 290 in 47.3 overs. The series now moves to Tuesday for the third match in Windhoek as both sides fine-tune their preparations for upcoming international qualifiers.
