A look back to the game between Punjab Kings versus Chennai Super Kings

Punjab Kings won the toss and elected to bat first and it was believed to be a wrong decision as Punjab Kings lost Prabhsimran Singh without opening the account while the captain of the side Shreyas Iyer went back to the pavilion after scoring 9 on the board. However, the incredible performance by Priyansh Arya showcased an incredible performance by smashing 103 from 42 and that was the foundation for Punjab Kings to post a massive total on the board.

Marcus Stoinis was disappointed by going back to the pavilion after scoring 4, while Nehal Wadhera contributed 9, and the sensational all-rounder Glenn Maxwell disappointed once again as he was dismissed for just 1.

Shashank Singh and Marco Jansen contributed 52 and 34, respectively. Punjab Kings ended the innings at 219 with the loss of 6 wickets after 20 overs.

In the reply, Chennai Super Kings had a positive start, Rachin Ravindra contributed 36 while his partner Devon Conway smashed 69 from 49 and he retired out. The captain of the side Ruturaj Gaikwad was disappointed again as he went to back to the pavilion after scoring 1.
