In the reply, Royal Challengers Bengaluru started in an aggressive manner. The opening unit started to dominate from the initial stage. Phil Salt smashed 56 from 31 while Virat Kohli was not out after scoring 59 from 36.
Devdutt Padikkal contributed 10 to the total while the captain of the side Rajat Patidar added 34 from 16 and Liam Livingstone contributed 15 from 5. That was enough for Royal Challengers Bengaluru to register 7 wickets victory over Kolkata Knight Riders.
