Gujarat bowlers somewhat managed to limit runs and get wickets. They did a decent job of putting pressure on the Bangalore team. Sangwan knocked out 2 wickets while Shami, Alzarri Joseph, Rashid Khan and Lockie Ferguson gained a wicket each.
W Saha and Shubman Gill opened for Gujarat. The top individual scorer for the team was Rahul Tewatia(43 not out). Others who joined the chase were Milker(39 not out), Shubman glGill(31), W Saha(29), Sai Sudharsan(20), Hardik Pandya(3). The total score came to 174-4 in 19.3 overs with 9 extras scattered throughout the innings.
The Bangalore team failed at restricting runs and securing wickets. They were able to knock out only 4 from Gujarat’s batting lineup. It was not a total tragedy. The game had its moments, but Gujarat batsmen chased down the target with 3 balls remaining. Of the 4 wickets that fell, Shahbaz Ahmed and W Hasaranga got 2 wickets each. As the game came to an end, Gujarat Titans won the match by 6 wickets. Both teams had their moments in the game, but Gujarat chased down the target that Bangalore had set.
