Lucknow Super Giants Beat Delhi Capitals By 6 Wickets

Lucknow Super Giants, the newly added franchise to the roster of IPL has registered yet another victory in the tournament. The boys of KL Rahul registered 6 wickets victory over Delhi Capitals in the last over of the match and it was a thrilling moment for the fans as well. KL Rahul won the toss and elected to field first in the game and Delhi Capitals started the innings with an amazing manner. As the sensational opening batsman Prithvi Shaw created a firework in the early stage of the game and he smashed 61 from just 34 deliveries. This made everyone believe that Delhi is going to set a massive total in front of the boys of KL Rahul but the bowling unit of Lucknow Super Giants came back strongly and restricted the explosive batting lineup of Delhi.

Having said that, David Warner and Rovman Powell went back to the pavilion for 4 and 3 runs respectively. While the captain of the side Rishabh Pant was dismissed for 39 runs. Sarfaraz Khan added 36 runs in his account and remained unbeaten. Delhi Capitals ended their innings at 149 runs with the loss of 3 wickets after 20 overs.

The chasing was not easy for the boys of KL Rahul as well as the bowling department of Delhi removed wickets on regular intervals and they didn’t give runs unnecessarily. The captain KL Rahul was dismissed for 24 while his partner Quinton de Kock showcased his character and smashed 80 runs in his account from just 52 deliveries.

Evin Lewis was not able to find the momentum and he was dismissed for just 5 runs while Deepak Hooda went back to the pavilion for 11 runs.

Krunal Pandya remained unbeaten and scored 19 runs and the sensational performance of Ayush Badoni guided his team to the victory as he smashed 10 runs from just three deliveries and that helped Lucknow Super Giants to register 6 wickets victory.
