The new edition of the Road Safety World Series started and the Indian Legends played against the Bangladesh Legends in the opening match of the tournament. This particular series is meant to spread awareness among individuals with regard to road safety in the country. The tournament is also an opportunity for the fans to see the favourite players in action.
It is worth to mention that this year the Australian Legends couldn’t participate in the tournament and that is due to the travel restrictions and the same is happened due to the outbreak of coronavirus and the current scenario of the world.
Coming back to the match, the Indian Legends showcased an amazing performance in the middle and they defeated Bangladesh Legends with 10 wickets.
Bangladesh Legends was out to bat first in the match but the players didn’t have a good time because no one was able to stand for long and the team all out for 109 runs.
In the second innings of the match, Indian Legends came out and the dream pair was in the middle as Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar came out to bat for the Indian Legends.
Virendra Sehwag showed electrifying performance in the ground and it was never believed that the player wasn’t in the touch, Sehwag smashed 80 runs and that includes 10 sixes and 5 fours.
While the God of the cricket, Sachin Tendulkar was also in the good touch and smashed 33 runs and that includes 5 fours. Both the players completed the match within 10 overs and registered 10 wickets victory over Bangladesh Legends.
Apart from India and Bangladesh, South Africa, Sri Lanka, England, and the West Indies are the other teams playing the tournament.
