Virat Kohli who is the captain of the Indian cricket team retains his top position of the one day international rankings as he secured 870 points and stays on the top position. The latest one day international series was lost by team India but Virat Kohli showcased amazing performance and scored two half centuries which helped him to retain the position.
Having said that, the deputy of Virat Kohli in the one day international format of the game, Rohit Sharma is at the second position on the rankings and he has 847 points even after not playing in the last series for the country.
The only change in the first five spots of the rankings is the entry of Aaron Finch as he attained the fifth position of the rankings and he got this achievement after showcasing the heart robing performance in the last series against India and secured his career best 791 rating points to get this achievement.

David Warner was not able to play the last one day international series against India due to an injury but that is not making him out from the top 10 list as he is at the seventh position. It is worth to mention that the all rounder Hardik Pandya who played a specialist role in the last series is placed at 49th position with his career best 553 rating points.
Jasprit Bumrah who is the leader of the Indian bowling unit and he lost a place and Secure the third position on the rankings of the best world bowlers with 700 rating points and he is just a point behind Mujeeb Ur Rahman of Afghanistan as he placed at the second position.

Australia fast bowler Josh Hazlewood, jumped a place to secure the sixth rank and his sensational performance in the last series help to get this particular achievement. Adam Zampa, who was the most successful bowler in the ODI series with seven wickets, attained career-best rating of 623 points which helped to climb to the 14th position.
