Mick Schumacher who is the son of seven time formula one world champion Michael Schumacher and he also confirmed to make his way to the Formula One next season. Now he has registered victory in the F2 season and clinches the title of the season. The Indians also have something to cheer in the F2 season this year. Junior Schumacher came to the race after losing Bahrain International Circuit and this time he registered the victory to clinch the title. Mick Schumacher performed really well in the Sakhir Grand Prix, he took the title by 14 points ahead of nearest rival Briton Callum Ilott.
Having said that, Schumacher was at the third position on the grid along with his rival and took second at the start, but he was fell back and after a pit-stop for new tyres, however, that was not a problem at the end of the game as Mick Schumacher was capable to register victory.
That said, Ilott needed to finish second to retain a title bid, but it was not possible for him and he could only finish at the tenth position. Schumacher ended the season on 215 points and Ilott on 201.
It is worth to mention that Nikita Mazepin, who will be the future team-mate of Mick Schumacher at the Haas F1 team next year, finished fifth in the title race.
