Kings Rule In Super Over, Beat Mumbai Indians

It was super over Sunday, as we witnessed for a thrilling super over in the match between Kolkata Knight Riders versus Sunrisers Hyderabad. We also witnessed for yet another super over in the second match of the day and that was between Mumbai Indians versus Kings XI Punjab and the match had a historic second super over and Punjab beat the defending Champions to keep their hopes alive for the play-off. Chris Gayle and Agarwal came out for the Kings XI Punjab in the second super over, the hard hitting batsman of Caribbean smashed a six on the very first ball and the same put Trent Boult under pressure. Then Gayle took a single to bring Mayank on strike, and did the rest, as he smashed back-to-back boundaries to seal the win.

Apart from his batting, Mayank’s performed superb fielding effort at the fence and saved four runs which restricted the defending champions Mumbai Indians to just 11 runs. With this victory, Kings XI Punjab keeps its hope alive for the play-off of the tournament.
