Yuvraj Singh, the sensational all-rounder of India who retired in last year and now mentoring his home team which is Punjab for the domestic season is now reported to planning to make a comeback in the Domestic Cricket League. Yuvi is awaiting approval from the authorities and if he receives the green signal from the officials, then we will able to see him back in the jersey of Punjab and play the T20 matches for its home side.
According to the latest report, Yuvraj Singh is seeking permission from the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) to play in the upcoming domestic T20 league and that is believed to start in October this year after a long gap due to the outbreak of coronavirus. The sensational cricketer is eager to help his home side to win the T20 league and to come out of his retirement.
The 38 years old left-handed all-rounder was retired from the international cricket in June last year, and now after more than a year, he has shown interest to play the game once again and this will be a delight for the fans of the game to see him in action once again.
Yuvraj Singh presented many unforgettable innings and he was also the man of the series in the 2011 cricket world cup and the tournament is also history as India lifted the title after 28 years. But in 2012, Yuvraj suffered with cancer but his strong attitude defeated the deadly disease and he came back strongly but the same pushed him back in the game and he lost his form.
So let’s hope for a positive reply from the PCA and wishing him to play the sensational innings once again in the domestic T20 league.
