Well, now the franchise has confirmed that one of its important player Suresh Raina has returned to the country and that means he will not play in the tournament.
The team which is under the leadership of captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni landed UAE for the training before the start of IPL 2020 but the team doesn’t have a good time. After testing positive for coronavirus in the Camp, now the key player of the team Suresh Raina has returned to India and this means he will not be available in the tournament and this is a big blow for the team as well as the fans.
Suresh Raina has returned to the home due to his personal problem and this information has been confirmed by the franchisee. The left-handed batsman and part-time bowler helped the team in various circumstances and his absence will definitely hurt CSK in its matches during IPL 2020.
Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time.

It is worth to mention that the upcoming tournament is the first one after the official announcement of his retirement from international cricket. The IPL 2020 will start from September 19 and the first match will happen between the defending Champions Mumbai Indians versus Chennai Super Kings.
