The sensational left-hand batsman announced his retirement on the official Instagram page. The left-handed batsman and an extra-ordinary fielder saved the country in many occasions and help to clinch many important titles.
Suresh Raina was a decent player and established himself as one of the best middle-order batsmen and the finest fielders to be played in the blue jersey. Raina announced the retirement by sharing a message for the captain cool on his retirement as he also announced that he will be joining his CSK captain in this journey.

Talking about the Suresh Raina career, he appeared in all the three formats of the game and he remains one of the few to have a smashed a century in all the formats. Suresh Raina has played 226 ODIs at an average of 35.31, he also played 78 T20s and 18 Test matches.
Having said that, he has also been utilized as the part-time spinner and he took many crucial wickets and turned matches to his side. Suresh Raina last played for the country in 2018 against England and he was trying to make a comeback in International Cricket but the selectors seemed to moved away from him and focused to the new generation and injuries also made many issues to the left-hand batsman.
Similar to Dhoni, Raina will also play in the yellow jersey of Chennai Super Kings in the IPL and the tournament will kick off next month.
