Wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan has been officially ruled out of the upcoming second Twenty20 International against New Zealand due to an injury sustained during the ongoing bilateral series. In the wake of his sudden absence, young top-order sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is strongly positioned to step into the playing eleven as the touring side looks to maintain its momentum in Christchurch. The high-stakes fixture is scheduled to take place at Hagley Oval on October 24, 2026, under night conditions, with both teams gearing up for another intense battle.
